In marriage, God takes two people and He makes them one flesh, one new person as it were. Kiko and Bei made a solemn vow to one another, binding themselves to Christ. Love is not a matter of two, but of three. This sacrament is God’s complicity with its strengths and graces. Thus, living a married life is a joint commitment to keep it alive and grow – far beyond difficulties. For this couple, they understand that being one doesn’t come by itself, it stems from making an oath at the church to love each other come what may to embracing and corresponding to each other’s efforts each day, making their journey worth while.
